Les Miserables extended first look [VIDEO]

Yes. Yes. You need to see this. Now.

This 4:37 extended video is excellent. From Rope of Silicon:

    Directed by Tom Hooper (The

King’s Speech), the adaptation of Victor Hugo’s classic is set against the backdrop of 19th-century France and tells the story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption–a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Hugh Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Russell Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Anne Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.

The rest of the cast includes Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen and the film will include recognizable songs including “I Dreamed a Dream,” “Bring Him Home,” “One Day More” and “On My Own” as well as an all new song titled “Suddenly” written by Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil and performed by Jackman.

His ways are hidden from ordinary eyes, but not from the eyes of faith. I was sitting expectantly in the doctor's office, waiting for the results of some tests. I had convinced myself that there was nothing wrong. At worst, it was a hernia; at best, a pulled muscle. The doctor finally entered, and he gave me the news: "I am sorry to tell you, we ha […]
